It seems today is a treadmill review marathon day. I’ve written a couple articles already and I think this is my third or forth review for the day. Good job Johnny, keep it up! The next treadmill on my list is the LifeSpan Fitness TR 2000 HRC Treadmill. Texas designs and markets its treadmills to primarily to senior citizens and it shows. What you will not see on this treadmill is flash. There is not a sleek design, there is not iPod compatibility, there’s just the basics. Older people tend to prefer a simple console that you turn off and on and that’s about it. But, my mantra has always been ignored aesthetics and special features anyway. Focus on comfort and durability first. Everything else is a distant second. With that in mind let’s take an in-depth look at the LifeSpan Fitness TR 2000 HRC Treadmill.

One thing you notice about the console is large buttons. That makes sense considering LifeSpan’s target market, older people. It’s a lot more convenient to switch between speed and incline levels but the buttons are large and easy to push and see. The treadmill is powered by 2.5 HP motor, very well below average for treadmills in this price range. He also get a maximum speed of 10 mph which is also very well below average.

Come to think of it, just about everything I can think of about this treadmills is below average when you compare it to other treadmills in this price range. The incline levels which are at 10%, the 20″ x 56″ running belt, and amount programs you can choose from. In fact, the only saving grace of this treadmill I can think of are large buttons. This treadmill is definitely targeted recommended for older people. You can’t really run with a low top speed of 10 mph.

What’s worse, is that a much better treadmills by the same company sells for the exact same amount as the LifeSpan Fitness TR 2000 HRC Treadmill. That’s right, LifeSpan Fitness sells a better treadmills with more horsepower, higher top speed, and just about greater everything else for the exact same amount of money. If you buy this treadmill you are throwing money away! Please do not buy this treadmill, especially when you can get a better one made by the exact same company for the exact same amount of money as the LifeSpan Fitness TR 2000 HRC Treadmill.

Final Analysis
Sometimes I Don’t Really Feel like writing a final analysis just because my opinion is so blatantly obvious in the preceding paragraphs. In case you can’t figure it out the LifeSpan Fitness TR 2000 HRC Treadmill is a really bad deal. Avoid this treadmill at all costs and if you are a fan of the large buttons for whatever reason and you really must have this treadmill, do yourself a favor and buy the LifeSpan Fitness TR 3000 HRC Treadmill. Because the exact same amount of money and has better everything!
