Elliptical Trainer Review: NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer
Elliptical Trainer Rating: 2/5 for excellent features but a wobbly, unstable feel
Price: $549
I have just returned from the closest Sears to my house. I spent about two hours there testing out about 10 different elliptical trainers and I’m ready to start reviewing them. The first elliptical trainer on my list is the NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer. The NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer is one of the cheapest elliptical trainers at Sears and was selling for about 550 bucks when I took a look at the price tag. I think NordicTrack.com has it for about $500 at the time I wrote this article so if you want to buy the NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer go directly through NordicTrack.com. You’ll probably save about 10% compared to the Sears price.
The NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer has a lot of really cool features like the iFit fitness program. Users can buy a memory card that contains specialized workouts. It’s pretty much like having a personal trainer come with your elliptical trainer. This is one of the more innovative features of the NordicTrack brand and it’s something I highly recommend just about everyone, especially people who are just starting out with a brand-new fitness routine. If you want to buy the memory cards the NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer has six built-in programs centering around weight loss and resistance levels. This elliptical trainer also has built-in speakers and an auxiliary in jack for plugging in your iPod. Another unique and innovative features the car counter. Rather than just count calories, the NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer will project the amount of carbs your workout is burning just in case you’re on one of those low-carb diet. In any case, it’s kind of cool to see exactly what your body is doing.
There’s a roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain called X. This roller coaster has a little bit of a twist; riders are not buckled into a seat they are strapped into an inclined chair. Basically, you feel like you’re going to fall off the whole time you’re doing loops. The way that roller coaster makes me feel is basically the way the NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer made me feel. I felt like I was going to fall off the whole time I used it. Once a user gets the top of the stride the petals place your feet at a rather high and steep incline. Add to that feeling a very wobbly frame that bounces from left to right as you press the petals and you’ll have some idea as to what the NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer feels like when you’re using it.
The NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer has some really cool features like the iFit system and iPod compatibility, but ultimately I judge elliptical trainer on how it feels. I tried out and used the NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer it had a terrible feel. It was shaky, I felt like I was going to fall off, and it squeaked. If you from paying $500 for elliptical trainer you can definitely get something just as good or better for about the same amount money. My recommendation is you keep on shopping.
If you’re looking for a better alternative I reccomend the Horizon Fitness EX-58 Elliptical Trainer. It retails for about $600 delivered.
