Elliptical Trainer Review: NordicTrack Freestrider 35s Elliptical Trainer
Elliptical Trainer Rating: 4/5 for an excellent feel
Price: $1299

It might be a little bit difficult for the layman to see but the NordicTrack Freestrider 35S Elliptical Trainer looks very strange for elliptical trainer. Normally, elliptical trainer will have a friend or rear wheel attached to a pair pedals. In contrast, the NordicTrack Freestrider 35S Elliptical Trainer has a strange parabola like look and no visible front or rear wheel. My first a look at the NordicTrack Freestrider 35S Elliptical Trainer I knew this was not going to be a conventional elliptical trainer and when I see something new I’m very excited try it out. This is what I thought about the NordicTrack Freestrider 35S Elliptical Trainer after spending some time on it at a Sears store.

The first thing I noticed about the NordicTrack Freestrider 35S Elliptical Trainer was that the strides are steep. Using the NordicTrack Freestrider 35S Elliptical Trainer almost feels like you’re walking up a mountain. About five minutes into using the NordicTrack Freestrider 35S Elliptical Trainer I tripped up a little noticed something interesting, the NordicTrack Freestrider 35S Elliptical Trainer can be used like a stepper. What I mean by this is that you don’t have to take a full stride, users can take baby steps. It’s almost like having an adjustable stride elliptical trainer without actually having to adjust the stride. Just let your legs naturally decide how far they want to stride and that’s your stride length. Another thing that I know people appreciate is how smooth the NordicTrack Freestrider 35S Elliptical Trainer is. I almost felt as if I were gliding rather than using elliptical trainer. The NordicTrack Freestrider 35S Elliptical Trainer really does have an excellent feel.

The NordicTrack Freestrider 35S Elliptical Trainer is slightly on the unconventional side when it comes elliptical trainers. If you want to do some training on your thighs the NordicTrack Freestrider 35S Elliptical Trainer would be a great elliptical trainer have in your home. The NordicTrack Freestrider 35S Elliptical Trainer is going to cost about $1300 but it is an excellent piece of fitness equipment.

If you’re looking for something a little more traditional I also recommend Sole Elliptical Trainers.
I highly recommend the Sole E35. It costs the same as the NordicTrack Freestrider 35S and has an excellent feel.

Hello Readers,

Elliptical Trainer Review: NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer
Elliptical Trainer Rating: 3.5/5 for average features and specifications, slightly off balance frame
Price: $599

It is time to review more colorful elliptical trainers I tested out when I went to Sears this morning. Welcome to my NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer review. You’ll be able to easily spot the NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer when you walk in a serious because it’s probably going to be the brightest thing you’ll see. The rear wheel drive of the NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer is painted a very bright orange. I notice a lot more about the NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer than just the colors and I’m ready to share everything that I have learned about the NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer right now and it’s elliptical trainer if you.

When I tested out the NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer the motion was very smooth considering the $600 price tag. I suppose the best I can say about the motion of the NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer is that it is slightly above average. The other thing I notice is that the NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer does have a very slight wobble. The wall can probably be fixed with a little paper placed underneath the base of the elliptical trainer, but I really would prefer to buy an elliptical trainer that was already perfectly balanced when I bought it. I will admit, many of the elliptical trainers in the $600 price range are going to have some sort of motion problems, which makes the NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer an average piece of fitness equipment.

As far as features and specifications go the NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer does have some pretty cool features. The stride length is adjustable from 13 inches to 18 inches. Even though I like that the stride is adjustable and the justice system seems to be more mechanically sound and a lot of other elliptical trainers that include an adjustable stride future, I still think that if you’re going to make an adjustable stride elliptical trainer it should be adjustable to at least 21 inches. Going from 18 inches down to 13 inches basically just makes you feel like you’re wearing handcuffs on your ankles. It’s not really a very comfortable feeling especially if you’re trying to run. I’m sure that there is some obscure sport that I’ve never heard of that a 13 inch stride length is useful for, but chances are you are never going to play that sport.

The NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer has a built-in weight-loss training programs and if that’s not enough for you you can buy in iFit memory card that has specially designed and sometimes celebrit fitness chair narrated workouts. I really do like the iFit system and the iFit cards, it’s one of the more innovative features I’ve seen in fitness equipment and quite sometime. The NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer is also iPod compatible which means that you can plug in your iPod and listen to music without having to put on some headphones. I’m a fan of cutting out as many wives as possible that’s one of the main reasons why like this feature. To cap it off he got 12 levels of resistance. It is possible to get 16 levels of resistance for the same $600 price tag, once again leaving the NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer and the average category.

Final Analysis
for a $600 price tag and largely overlooked a frame that is slightly off balance or wobbles. Once again the wobbling can be fixed with a little bit a newspaper or perhaps pages of that crappy novel you’ve been writing that you’re embarrassed that you ever wrote. Like many other elliptical trainers from the Icon Fitness family fitness equipment the NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer has lots of really cool features that make it stand out from many other elliptical trainers in the $600 price range. You get built-in iPod compatibility, access to the iFit system, and an adjustable stride system that actually works well. Adding many people would be happy taking the NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer home.

If you are looking to do a little comparison shopping I also recommend the Horizon Fitness EX-58 Elliptical Trainer. Even though I recommend the NordicTrack E5 VI Elliptical Trainer it might not be for everyone. Go ahead and check out the Horizon EX58 Elliptical Trainer.

Hello Readers,

Elliptical Trainer Review: Proform 390 E Elliptical Trainer
Elliptical Trainer Rating: 3/5 for having an excellent, stable feel, but having a terrible warranty
Price: $599

Well, it’s time for me to review the second elliptical trainer try out today. I must admit that after trying out the NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer I was in a very skeptical mood when I stepped onto the Proform 390 E Elliptical Trainer. The specifications were not listed on this elliptical trainer said to do some Internet research to figure out what the specs were, that was a little annoying. However, when I finally started pedaling I was pleasantly surprised. My experience with the Proform 390 E Elliptical Trainer definitely makes up for the rocky start I got off to this morning.

The one thing I definitely noticed right off the bat is that there was no shaking. Usually, elliptical trainers that retail for less than $800 will have some sort of balance issues. Even when I was pumping my legs at full speed the Proform 390 E Elliptical Trainer stayed firmly planted on the ground. I would like to think that Proform embedded stolen alien antigravity technology into the Proform 390 E Elliptical Trainer and flipped the reverse button. The reality is Proform just made a really good elliptical trainer for less than $600. The Proform 390 E Elliptical Trainer is also very smooth for the price range. I can’t expect the same natural motion I would expect from an elliptical trainer that cost $1000 or more, but for a $600 unit the Proform 390 E Elliptical Trainer has an impressive feel. As far as mechanics go, this is one of the best $600 ellipticals out there.

So, how do the features and specifications stack up? The Proform 390 E Elliptical Trainer has a lot of features typically found on high-end fitness equipment. The Proform 390 E Elliptical Trainer is compatible with iPod and even has built-in speakers. This elliptical trainer has 12 built-in workout programs and seven of them are geared towards weight loss. I know a lot of you are probably saying “I don’t need fitness programs”. You’re right. You do not need any fitness programs whatsoever. But the truth is, for a majority of people including myself fitness programs are a great way to boost your performance during a cardiovascular routine. They keep you focused and working as hard as you need to reach whatever goal you have in mind be a weight-loss, burning a certain amount of calories, or just getting the most for every minute you spend on your elliptical trainer.

Proform has been getting good about increasing the span of their parts and labor warranty. Unfortunately, the Proform 390 E Elliptical Trainer is not one of the “good”units when it comes to warranty. The day someone takes the Proform 390 E Elliptical Trainer home they’re covered for 90 days of parts and labor then coverage stops. That is rather short my opinion and I have to downgrade the Proform 390 E Elliptical Trainer’s rating for this reason.

Final Analysis
Ov overall, the Proform 390 E Elliptical Trainer is an excellent unit. It has an excellent feel for the $600 price range and lots of really cool features like iPod compatibility. In the end, you can find elliptical trainer with a similar and possibly a better feel than the Proform 390 E Elliptical Trainer that will provide you with a full years worth of parts and labor coverage. One of those elliptical trainers is the Horizon Fitness EX-58 Elliptical Trainer. If the short warranty bothers you like it bothers me go with the Horizon EX58. It’s an excellent alternative to the Proform 390 E Elliptical Trainer.

Hello Readers,

Elliptical Trainer Review: NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer
Elliptical Trainer Rating: 2/5 for excellent features but a wobbly, unstable feel
Price: $549

I have just returned from the closest Sears to my house. I spent about two hours there testing out about 10 different elliptical trainers and I’m ready to start reviewing them. The first elliptical trainer on my list is the NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer. The NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer is one of the cheapest elliptical trainers at Sears and was selling for about 550 bucks when I took a look at the price tag. I think NordicTrack.com has it for about $500 at the time I wrote this article so if you want to buy the NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer go directly through NordicTrack.com. You’ll probably save about 10% compared to the Sears price.

The NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer has a lot of really cool features like the iFit fitness program. Users can buy a memory card that contains specialized workouts. It’s pretty much like having a personal trainer come with your elliptical trainer. This is one of the more innovative features of the NordicTrack brand and it’s something I highly recommend just about everyone, especially people who are just starting out with a brand-new fitness routine. If you want to buy the memory cards the NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer has six built-in programs centering around weight loss and resistance levels. This elliptical trainer also has built-in speakers and an auxiliary in jack for plugging in your iPod. Another unique and innovative features the car counter. Rather than just count calories, the NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer will project the amount of carbs your workout is burning just in case you’re on one of those low-carb diet. In any case, it’s kind of cool to see exactly what your body is doing.

There’s a roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain called X. This roller coaster has a little bit of a twist; riders are not buckled into a seat they are strapped into an inclined chair. Basically, you feel like you’re going to fall off the whole time you’re doing loops. The way that roller coaster makes me feel is basically the way the NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer made me feel. I felt like I was going to fall off the whole time I used it. Once a user gets the top of the stride the petals place your feet at a rather high and steep incline. Add to that feeling a very wobbly frame that bounces from left to right as you press the petals and you’ll have some idea as to what the NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer feels like when you’re using it.

The NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer has some really cool features like the iFit system and iPod compatibility, but ultimately I judge elliptical trainer on how it feels. I tried out and used the NordicTrack E5 SI Elliptical Trainer Elliptical Trainer it had a terrible feel. It was shaky, I felt like I was going to fall off, and it squeaked. If you from paying $500 for elliptical trainer you can definitely get something just as good or better for about the same amount money. My recommendation is you keep on shopping.

If you’re looking for a better alternative I reccomend the Horizon Fitness EX-58 Elliptical Trainer. It retails for about $600 delivered.

Elliptical Trainer Review: Schwinn 460 Elliptical Trainer
Elliptical Trainer Rating: 3.5 / 5 for excellent features but a short labor warranty
Price: $999

There’s a lot to say about the Schwinn 460 Elliptical Trainer. The Schwinn 460 Elliptical Trainer is an adjustable stride elliptical trainer. The adjustable stride design has been gaining popularity and a lot of the big players in the fitness equipment industry have been adding an adjustable stride elliptical to their lineup. When the adjustable stride elliptical trainer first debuted it was more of a gimmick than anything else. Oftentimes, the extra mechanics required to give an elliptical trainer an adjustable were defective. We’ve come along way since then and now there are finally some decent and in many cases excellent elliptical trainers with adjustable stride length. Let’s take an in-depth look at the Schwinn 460 Elliptical Trainer and discover if it is worth buying or passing over.

Many adjustable stride elliptical trainers have an adjustable stride from 16 to 22 inches. The Schwinn 460 Elliptical Trainer smashes this range with a 2 inch to 26 inch stride length. Longer stride length mimic runners to take long strides with every step and shorter stride length mimic a walking motion. Have you checked out the Amazon.com video you’ll have a good idea of how the adjustable stride works. I would like to note this, I personally would not get any use out of be supershort to in stride length. I kind of feel like I’m trying to run with my ankles cuffed together. Maybe somebody else out there would find a use for that, probably someone trying to escape from prison, but I wouldn’t. That’s not to say that the adjustable stride length isn’t useful especially for someone buying and elliptical trainer for several people who may be tall and short. I suppose I’m just saying that the stride length range is so wide that beyond a certain point it offers little to no extra value for most users.

As far as features go you get 16 fitness programs to help you reach whatever goal it is you’re trying to reach. I can’t stress this enough, fitness programs are there for a reason and if you are new cardio training they will help you get in shape! They will help you set and reach goals. They will help you lose weight. The Schwinn 460 Elliptical Trainer has something else that a lot of elliptical trainers do not have, results tracking. As many as two people can track stats like average calories burned per hour.

Like just about every piece of fitness equipment that comes from Schwinn I do have one gripe with the Schwinn 460 Elliptical Trainer. The Schwinn 460 Elliptical Trainer is covered by 90 day labor warranty. In my mind, that’s just way too short. Elliptical trainer really should have a one-year parts and labor warranty, especially if it selling for about $1000. So, for a very short warranty and going to have to deduct some major points from the Schwinn 460 Elliptical Trainer’s score.

If you want something and elliptical trainer that’s a little more traditional I highly recommend just about everything from Sole Fitness

Elliptical Trainer Review: Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer:
Elliptical Trainer Rating: 3/5 for solid mechanics a few special features and a short warranty
Price: $999

I’m much more impressed by Schwinn’s elliptical trainers that I am by their treadmills. I’ve had the opportunity to try out several Schwinn elliptical trainers and the mechanics are superb. Schwinn’s track record in general tells me that their elliptical trainers are going to be smooth, stable, and very pleasant workout on. In fact, a couple months ago I just gave a raving review to the Schwinn 420 Elliptical Trainer. Does the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer stack up to Schwinn’s strong track record of excellent elliptical trainers? Well, let’s find out.

The Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer comes with an 18 inch stride length which is pretty much normal for the thousand dollar price range. You can probably find something with a longer stride length for about the same amount of money as the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer, but for most people in 18 and stride length is going to be just fine. If you are taller say six-foot or more you probably will want to find something with at least a 20 inch stride length but you probably can get by with a Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer and it’s 18 and stride length.

The Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer has 16 computer-controlled resistance levels. Computer-controlled means you can press a button to change the resistance level rather than twisting a knob or adjusting a gear. Just about all elliptical trainers come with computer-controlled resistance these days; if you do come across elliptical trainer without computer-controlled resistance that should be a cue for you to run away as fast as you can. Resistance levels are really aided by fitness programs. The Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer comes with eight different programs that are designed to help you get the most from every second you spend on the elliptical trainer. What’s more, the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer comes with results programs that help you calculate BMI and assess how far you’ve come with your fitness routine. Basically, you can see if you’re improving. It’s great for motivation!

The Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer does fall short in warranty. Parts are covered for two years and labor is covered for about 90 days. A short labor warranty on elliptical trainer is not as bad as a short labor warranty on a treadmill. Most people will be able to fix a majority of the mechanical problems they encounter on an elliptical trainer on their own. They are no motors that need to be removed or messy electronics to deal with. Just nuts and bolts. If you get something defective you’ll know within the first 90 days and Schwinn will pick up that repair tab for you. Beyond that you probably won’t have any problems and if you do you can probably fix them yourself.

Overall, the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer has a great feel but just about average features. If I like and the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer to a car I would probably describe it as a Honda Civic. Cost-effective and reliable but nothing fancy. There are better elliptical trainers out there for just a little bit more money, and if you’re looking for an alternative to the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer try checking out something from Sole FitnessThe Sole E35 is an excellent elliptical trainer and has a lot more special features than the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer.

Treadmill Review: Schwinn 860 Treadmill
Rating: 2/5 for an incredibly short warranty and small running area
Price: $1299

Hello Readers,

Well, it is time to complete my brief foray into the Schwinn treadmill line. I said in my post just before this one Schwinn only has two treadmills and after having taken a thorough look at the Schwinn 860 Treadmill and the Schwinn 840 Treadmill it is quite obvious that treadmills are not Schwinn’s cup of tea. I’ll be the first person to rant and rave about their bikes and some of their home gyms, but I doubt I would buy any of their treadmills that are out on the market at the time I wrote this treadmill review. I know I probably kind of spoiled review already but for those of you who want to know why I would not buy the Schwinn 860 Treadmill continue reading, I’ll be sure to enlighten you.

The Schwinn 860 Treadmill retails for about 1300 bucks and that includes delivery if you buy from Amazon.com. So, what does Schwinn think $1300 should buy you? Will you get a lot of the standard features like heart rate control, a pretty decent 12% incline, and a very standard 12 mile-per-hour top speed. However, this treadmill source fall apart when we take a look at the running area. The Schwinn 860 Treadmill has a 20″ x 58″ running surface and I really would like to see a full 20″ x 60″ deck. A 60 inch running length is pretty much the standard for treadmills in this price range and even though the Schwinn 860 Treadmill is pretty close to matching many other competitors in this price range they’re just too many other great treadmills out there for me to recommend the Schwinn 860 Treadmill.

What really irks me about the Schwinn 860 Treadmill is the warranty. Schwinn expects you to pay about $1300 for a high-end treadmill that is covered by an all too short 90 day parts and labor warranty. I can’t recommend this treadmill simply because I would feel too bad if one of my readers bought this treadmill and it broke down on them a few months later. That is not a risk I would take and I suggest you avoid that risk as well. The treadmill that retails for over $1000 really should be backed by at least a one-year parts and labor warranty and it is not uncommon to see manufacturers factor equipment for as long as two full years.

What are the alternatives? Smooth Fitness offers a great treadmill called the
Smooth 5.65 Treadmill
. This treadmill retails for about $1000 and it’s one of the better treadmills out there right now. If you have a little more money to spend try looking at something by Sole Fitness
. Sole has an excellent reputation for quality and durability and it is a brand I trust.

Treadmill Review: Schwinn 840 Treadmill
Treadmill Rating: 2.5 out of 5 for being an average treadmill with a terrible warranty
Price: $799
Hello again,

I’ve been scouring the Internet for new treadmills to review I have decided I’m going to go through Schwinn’s treadmill line. It shouldn’t take that long, Schwinn only offers two treadmills. The first treadmill on my list is the Schwinn 840 Treadmill. The Schwinn 840 Treadmill is a low-end to midrange priced treadmill and comes in for $799, just under 800 bucks delivered. Like many other treadmills I review the Schwinn 840 Treadmill is an excellent treadmill with a single fatal flaw. Before I reveal too much more about my final assessment of the Schwinn 840 Treadmill let’s get into what I like about this treadmill.

One of the things I like about the Schwinn 840 Treadmill is the programs. Schwinn did not skimp on the fitness programs that come equipped with the Schwinn 840 Treadmill. If you are a regular reader you well know that I like fitness programs because they add variety and they can actually help you get a better workout. The most notable program included with the Schwinn 840 Treadmill is the heart rate control program. Most treadmills that retail for less than $1000 will not include heart rate control. I really can’t tell you how rare it is to see heart rate control in a treadmill that sells for less than $1000. For those of you wondering, heart rate control allows you to set a target heart rate and automatically have your workout adjusted to match that heart rate. If things get easy for your heart, you’ll either go faster or increase your incline. If things get too tough for your heart the computer will slow down your pace or level out the incline.

Aside from heart rate control the Schwinn 840 Treadmill is pretty much average. The Schwinn 840 Treadmill has a 20″ x 55″ running surface which is just about in line with every other treadmill in this price range. There are a couple other treadmills that retail for about $800 that have an extra inch of width or length, but nothing great enough to make a real significant difference in performance. If you are taller than 6 feet and plan on doing some jogging or running I highly recommend trying to find something within your budget that has a 20″ x 60″ running surface. You’ll feel a lot freer to move and run. The top speed of the Schwinn 840 Treadmill is 10 mph. I will say you can probably find something that has a higher top speed for the same amount of money as you’re paying for the Schwinn 840 Treadmill, but keep in mind 10 mph is pretty darn fast and unless you plan on spending $20,000 you will be a little find a treadmill much faster than 12 mph anyway.

The motor is pretty strong. The Schwinn 840 Treadmill comes with a 2.5 HP motor and that should be powerful enough to support heavy users with little to no slippage of the belt during strenuous runs.

Well, it’s time to address my primary gripe with the Schwinn 840 Treadmill. As a responsible treadmill review or I feel it my duty to only recommend treadmills that I would buy myself. I would never buy a treadmill that was backed by less than a one-year parts and labor warranty. One year parts and labor is pretty much standard all across the board in the thousand dollar or less price range. The Schwinn 840 Treadmill comes with an all too short three-month parts and labor warranty. That is simply not enough for me to make a positive recommendation. If Schwinn wants to improve my rating of the Schwinn 840 Treadmill all has to do is make a change on paper and back this treadmill for a full year.

Greetings!
Elliptical Trainer Review: Smooth Agile DMT
Elliptical Trainer Price: $1999
Elliptical Trainer Rating: A little short on programs, but we like it’s very unique features

Click Now To Buy the Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical

Today we will be talking about the Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical Trainer. The Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical Trainer retails for about two grand and Smooth Fitness has included several cool features to justify the hefty price tag. Let’s take a look at those features.

The Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical Trainer has nine fitness programs. I’ll admit, nine programs is kind of skimpy, especially considering many elliptical trainers priced several hundred dollars lower than the Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical Trainer. However, there’s one program that really caught my eye and deserves your attention. The Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical Trainer comes with a program Smooth Fitness calls Interval Motion. The Interval Motion Program is designed to work your core muscles, consisting primarily of the abdominal muscles. By combining high and low intensity activity both your aerobic and anaerobic or probably better understood as cardiovascular and muscular systems will be activated. This means you get the benefits of a cardiovascular routine and a very light strength training routine all in the same exercise. It is great for people who like to run or walk but don’t like to do crunches or pump iron.

The next thing I want to mention is that the Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical Trainer has an adjustable stride length from 18 inches to 20 inches. In my early days of my fitness equipment career I liked to think that the longer the stride length the better the elliptical. As it turns out, that’s just not the case, at least not anymore. In the past, the only elliptical trainers that had an adjustable stride length were poor quality elliptical trainers. It seems adjustable stride is catching eye of many high-end manufacturers like Smooth Fitness. There is a great reason to equip high-end equipment like the Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical Trainer with adjustable stride length, not the least of which is great for multiple users where some may be tall and some may be short. Adjustable stride makes the Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical Trainer an excellent candidate for a family or couple.

Another evolution in elliptical trainers brought to you by Smooth Fitness is the Dynamic Motion FOOTPAD design. Basically, the footpad itself is designed to move allowing your foot to move as it naturally would if you were running. The special design enables the activation of muscle groups that normally would not be activated on elliptical trainers. If toning and burning as many calories as possible is your goal will using elliptical trainer the Dynamic Motion footpad is going quite a bit further in helping you reach that goal.

Overall, the Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical Trainer is very innovative. Aside from many of the other standard features I’ve come to expect from Smooth Fitness such as a two-year labor warranty, and iPod dock, and a convenient and easy to use console display the Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical Trainer brings unique features like an adjustable stride length and Dynamic Motion Footpad’s. The Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical Trainer is definitely going to be a candidate for entry into the ProTreadmillReviews.com 2010 elliptical trainer guide.

I have not had an opportunity to personally try out the Smooth Fitness 9.35HR Treadmill. But I do want to talk about it. Over the past couple of weeks I have received couple of inquiries asking me about the Hydra Suspension System. Hydra Suspension is a fancy way of saying the Smooth Fitness 9.35HR Treadmill has an adjustable shock absorption system. Adjustable shock absorption just means you can adjust how firm the deck of a treadmill is. Most of the time adjustable shock absorption is just a gimmick and causes more problems than solutions. Adjustable shock absorption is also typically found on low-end units. When Smooth released the Smooth Fitness 9.35HR Treadmill I was a little bit surprised and also a little excited to see how well Smooth Fitness integrated an adjustable shock absorption system into a high-end treadmill like the Smooth Fitness 9.35HR Treadmill. Because I have not used the Smooth Fitness 9.35HR Treadmill yet so I really can’t give a thumbs up or thumbs down opinion about the Hydra suspension feature. I suppose I’ll just say it is going to be really interesting to see some consumer feedback on this feature.

As for the rest of the Smooth Fitness 9.35HR Treadmill it’s pretty much slightly below average. The running area is a small 20″ x 54″. The vast majority of people who plan on buying a high-end treadmill like the Smooth Fitness 9.35HR Treadmill the running area just won’t cut it. Other treadmills in the $2000 price range have a 20″ x 60” running area. However, if for some reason you want to high-end treadmill that will take up the least amount of space I suppose the small running area is a redeeming quality of the Smooth Fitness 9.35HR Treadmill. The top speed is 11.2 MPH. Most people who buy a treadmill will not be running or jogging any faster than 10 mph. But that’s not the point. The Smooth Fitness 9.35HR Treadmill is a high-end, or at least a high price treadmill. I need a full 12 mile-per-hour top speed for me to even consider something that retails in the $2000 neighborhood.

Bottom line, the Hydra suspension system or adjustable shock absorption system holds a lot of potential. Perhaps if Smooth Fitness finds a way to include the shock absorption system and a large deck and high top speed the Smooth Fitness 9.35HR Treadmill would be in the running for my annual treadmill awards. But it’s not.
