Remind Me

Somebody remind me that the next time I review treadmills and ellipticals I need to bring an Ipod to test the speakers. I’ve been getting email about elliptical ipod speakers and I can’t believe I dropped the ball on this one. Sorry guys, I’ll do better!

Sidenote: I was in the treadmill / elliptical selling business for about 5 years. I’m BRAND NEW to the review side of the fitness industry. Over time, my writing is improving and I promise accurate, unbiased information from somebody who knows what they’re talking about because he spent hours assembling, using, and selling elliptical trainers and treadmills!

The Day After Tomorrow Sequel Movie...

2012-Doomsday1I know I’m not a “movie reviewer”, but did say I would break away from the normal treadmill review to talk about something I just wanted to talk about. That something is 2012.

You guys might know a little something about this movie from the prequel, The Day After Tomorrow. Let me assure you, it seems we found a way to reverse Global Warming and make everything okay again so we can move back and fill the great abandoned cities just in time for the great destruction of 2012.

There were, as you may have guessed, a great deal of plot holes and story arcs placed in the movie to seemingly baffle the viewer as to their purpose, presumably to induce the baffling mood one goes through when they discover there are actually people who believe the world is going to end in 2012. The most notable plot hole is “how”. How did the Mayans predict the world was going to end with a notable degree of certainty?
